River veterinary physiotherapy is a small business managed by one therapist, Emy. "I have recently graduated from Writtle University with an Integrated Master (IMSc) in Veterinary Physiotherapy. I am qualified to provide your horses and dogs manual therapy, electrotherapy, pre and rehabilitation treatments aiming to improve their quality of life, and to increase their life expectencies."
Our aim is to provide your pets and athletes the best possible care, and therefore, apply science evidence-based behind each treatments.
Veterinary-Physiotherapy aids to heal musculoskeletal injuries or disorders. Veterinary-physioherapists can help for prehabilitation, preventing injuries and managing secondary issues led by existing injuries or disorders, post-surgeries, and support normal functiong of your pet or athletes during recovery and resting periods. They can also help with performances and physical as well as mental development of your athletes. We also provide cares for older patients, to accompany them during their last day to manage pain level, and provide control management of degenerative issues.

Techniques
Our aim is to develop our knowledge constantly to be able to bring the best possible care to each one of our patient.
We specialised in myofascial release techniques, using the fascial tissues to decrease body restrictions and muscle pain. Complementary to myofascial release, kinesiology taping is used during session.
Additionally, the use of a variety of manual therapies such as massage techniques and stretching, to meet your animal's individual needs. More information below.

Our Services
Initial Consulatation
During our initial consulatation, a complete static, dynamic, palpation, and range of motion assessment will be taken, disscussing your need and how, as a team, we could reach, realistcally, your goals. The second part of the session consist of manual and electro therapies treatment for your pet.

Follow-Up Treatment
During our follow-up sessions, a shorter, yet thorough, static, dynamic, palpation, and range of motion assessment will be taken, disscussing your progress, and address issues to reach your goal. The second part of the session consist of manual and electro therapies treatment for your pet.
